All week long I hear two things from all of y’all consistently: one, excuses why you can’t find time to exercise and two, questions about eating right/how to lose weight. The real answers to these dilemmas are actually quite simple.
I think it’s time to take a moment and look at your life and decide for yourself, WHO is in control of your lifestyle choices? Is it your boss? Your spouse? Your kids? Your smartphone? ummm DSTV.….. ? The answer is YOU!!!YOU are in control. So I encourage you to take control and act accordingly (nawmean yo?). With improved health, its not just that you can live a longer and happier life, its that you will actually feel changes in your quality of life right in the moment.
1. Exercising at least 3 times a week is necessary. Try a Zoca class or ANY OTHER FORM OF EXERCISE — be creative! I know you people and you are capable of anything you set your mind to. You can do it!!
2. Eating right is a CHOICE! Educate yourself on proper food choices (internet has oogles of googles of information) and try to adjust accordingly.
