Log In to your new ZOCA account by clicking the Log In button at the top menu bar.
Register for the “Certified Instructor Course” for $124. (You will learn 4 dances during the Workshop. Since a class consists of a warm up plus 10 dances and a cool down (total of 12), you will need to learn an additional 8 dances to be ready to teach a full class. Certification gives you access to the Catalog where each dance video costs $5. Dances are sold in bundles of 4 at a time for $20. So an additional $40 may be required to round out your class, although you may also use routines from our YouTube page or a ZOCA class you take.)
Watch and follow the Online Training Workshop Video – about 1 hour viewing time.
Practice on your own to prepare your audition video.
Submit your audition video online using Dropbox. (Please note that your registration for the Workshop includes the right to audition up to 3 times during the 6 months following your registration date at no additional fee. In your audition we are looking for 3 things: (1) That you execute the steps correctly (it doesn’t have to be perfect but it should look good!!!). (2) Show us your energy and shake! (3) Make sure you smile and have fun!. We wish you luck to pass the first time! But if not, we will give you specific and constructive feedback on how to improve for the next time. )
